Tomar and the FCs

Tomar and the FCs are one of the hottest original soul bands exploding out of Austin right now.  With a dynamic front man, high-energy show and the funkiest of grooves this band brings the soul party to new heights!  They’re performing at top Austin venues such as the Continental Club, C-Boy’s Heart and Soul, Solid Gold, building their fan base one action packed, soulfest at a time!

In early 2018, the band was voted in the top five of the Austin Chronicle’s Music Poll for Best Blues, Funk, or Soul Artist. In March, they returned to SXSW performing as official artists and were awarded a prestigious Black Fret nomination. In addition to a busy performance schedule, with an appearance at Old Settler’s Music Festival and three summer tours, the band is hard at work on their third recording.

Tomar & The FCs have drawn comparisons to contemporaries Leon Bridges, Alabama Shakes, and Charles Bradley and idols Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, and James Brown!
