To celebrate their great musical heritage, the Texas Tycoons have built a repertoire as vast and varied as the great state itself. From Archie Bell to ZZ Top, Willie Nelson to T-Bone Walker, Doug Sahm to Buddy Holly, if it’s Texas music, the Tycoons have got it covered.

The Texas Tycoons are Texas Music!

Dynamic bandleader Paul Minor also leads popular wedding circuit band Alterego and created the Texas Tycoons to celebrate the great legacy of Texas music.  If you want to hear some party songs that don’t have Texas roots the band can perform songs from Alterego‘s play list.  Paul was the lead singer in The Argyles, one of the state’s most popular party bands in the 1980s and 1990s. In his quest to fill the world with great music he has released four albums with Hole in the Wall house band Superego and was inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame at the 2002 Austin Music Awards.

The Texas Tycoons features top notch musicianship and professionalism. Due to the high demand for these players, Paul customizes his band for each gig with recruits from a stable of high caliber musicians with the talent, experience, and qualifications to become Texas Tycoons.

The Texas Tycoons are available to perform for galas, corporate events and conventions, weddings, holiday open houses, and any party that needs a great band in Houston, Austin, and any other city across the great state of Texas!
