Jazz Guitarist Joe Carmouche is one of Houston's most popular and in-demand performers. Joe was nominated for Best Jazz Artist at the 2005 Houston Press Music Awards. Since 2002, Joe has performed at The Wednesday After Work Escape at Scott Gertner's Skybar for Houston's longest running jazz gig (5 years). While he is one of the city's top jazz specialists, Joe works with great vocalists to perform R&B dance hits for parties that want to hit the dance floor. In addition to a busy performance schedule (170 concerts a year!), Joe has released three CDs - After Hours, A Touch of Jazz, and Art of the Groove. A Touch of Jazz was awarded Best Jazz Album at the 2001 Texas Music Library Awards.
