Picture Book celebrates the music of the British Invasion with a vast repertoire of songs by The Kinks, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who and other popular artists. While a large part of their repertoire is taken from British bands, Picture Book is equally adept at playing American classics from the 60s and 70s by the likes of Creedence Clearwater Revival and Otis Redding.
Picture Book was originally formed as a tribute to The Kinks by former members of Houston's famed Dreambreakers. Following the popularity of this endeavor, the talented group of musicians decided to augment its repertoire with hits by other artists. Picture Book features exceptional singers, world class harmonies, and high-caliber musicianship as they faithfully recreate exciting rock and roll from the 60s and 70s. The band was nominated Best Cover Band in 2007 by the Houston Press, while the outstanding musicians in the band have received numerous local accolades and nominations including Best Vocalist, Best Guitarist, and Best Drummer.
